Terracotta Step-By-Step Roof Restoration

All broken roof tiles are replaced. Fungacide is applied to the tiles to assist the cleaning process. Entire roof area is pressure cleaned. Surrounding gutters and external walls are cleaned of roof grime. Rusted valleys are replaced or treated. Any lead flashings and timber battens can be rectified where necessary. Ridge-capping and gable tiles are re-bedded as required. Ridge cappings and gables are repointed using a flexible pointing compound. Repairs are checked and roof is air-blown clean.
